I am a strong advocate of teamwork and of planned and preventive advice, as well as of promoting a detailed and thorough analysis of each situation prior to the client's decision making.
In his already extensive professional experience in national firms of the highest prestige in tax matters, he has provided tax advice to companies and individuals, having been involved in advising companies in the electricity, communications, real estate, banking and transport sectors.
Bodies to which he belongs:
Member of the Spanish Association of Tax Advisors (AEDAF), of which he was Delegate for Madrid and Castilla La Mancha during 2010 and 2011.
Member of the Madrid Bar Association.
His more than 20 years of experience and success in providing tax advice to companies and individuals place Abel at the head of the Tax Department of LIFE Abogados in Madrid.
He pursues his professional practice in advising in various areas of tax law, working regularly in restructuring operations (M&A), estate planning, financing operations and international taxation.
He also intervenes in proceedings before the Tax Inspectorate, as well as in complaints and appeals before different administrative bodies and courts of law in the tax field.
He holds a Law Degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and a Master’s Degree in Tax Consultancy from the IE Business School.
He regularly participates in lectures and conferences related to different areas of taxation.
He regularly contributes articles on tax matters to newspapers such as Expansión, El Economista and ABC. He also participates in thematic debates on radio and television.
