Privacy policy

In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (hereinafter GDPR) and with the rest of the applicable legislation in Spain regarding personal data protection, we hereby inform you of the following:

  1. Data controller: LIFE Abogados SLP (hereinafter THE FIRM), with Tax ID Code B85738136 and registered office at C/ Velázquez nº 78, 1º 28001 Madrid (Spain), contact email: info@lifeabogados.com.
  2. Purposes and lawful basis for processing:
    1. Performance and fulfilment of the contractual relationship established or held THE FIRM. Legitimising lawful basis: Performance of contract (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
    2. To comply with the legal obligations arising from the aforementioned contractual relationship. Legitimising lawful basis: Compliance with legal obligation (Art. 6.1.c GDPR).
    3. To manage the commercial relationship established with THE FIRM, including the sending of commercial information by any means, including electronic, on services similar to those originally contracted. Legitimising lawful basis: Consent and Legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f. GDPR).
    4. To send information that has been requested, manage and provide the services to which you have decided to subscribe or register. Legitimising lawful basis: Consent of the data subject (Art. 6.1.a. GDPR).
    5. To process and evaluate the application or CV that you voluntarily submit, in the context of the various selection processes that THE FIRM may organise. Legitimising lawful basis: Consent of the data subject (Art. 6.1.a. GDPR).
  3. Data source: the data subject or his/her legal representative.
  4. Compulsory or voluntary nature of the data requested: The data marked with an asterisk (*) are compulsory. Refusal to provide this information will prevent communication with the interested party and, where appropriate, the impossibility of providing the information and/or services requested. The interested party shall be responsible, in all cases, for the veracity of the data provided.
  5. Retention: the data collected will be kept for the time necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected, for the duration of the contractual relationship or for the time necessary to respond to the request for information or contact. Once the contractual relationship has ended, the data will be kept for the limitation period of any actions that may arise.
    Personal data obtained through your job application and CV will be retained for a maximum period of one year.
    If you have given your consent to receive information, news or commercial communications, the data will be retained indefinitely as long as you do not withdraw your consent or unsubscribe.
  6. Data communication: Under no circumstances will your data be transferred or communicated to third parties, unless legally obliged to do so; nor will they be transferred internationally, except with the unequivocal consent of the data subject, with prior information on the possible recipients, purpose and, where appropriate, country of destination and security guarantees.
  7. Duty of secrecy: THE FIRM, as data controller, strictly complies with the duty of secrecy and confidentiality of personal data, having implemented, for these purposes, the appropriate technical and organisational measures to prevent their alteration, loss, unauthorised processing and/or access by third parties, taking into account the state of the art, the nature of the data stored and the risks to which they are exposed, in accordance with the GDPR.
  8. Rights of the data subject:
    1. You may exercise your right of access, right to rectification, right to erasure, right to restrict processing, right to data portability, right to object and right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, by writing to LIFE Abogados SLP, C/ Velázquez nº 78, 1º 28001 Madrid, Spain or through the email address info@lifeabogados.com indicating the purpose of your request, and accompanying ID card or passport that identifies you.
    2. Complain to the Control Authority: if the User considers that his/her data is not being used correctly, and this is not dealt with by THE FIRM, he/she may address a complaint to the appropriate data protection authority, the Spanish Data Protection Agency being the one indicated in our country.
    3. In the event that you receive news, information or commercial communications by electronic means, in accordance with the Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce Act (LSSICE), you may withdraw your consent, unsubscribe or modify your data and preferences using the same channel through the email info@lifeabogados.com or using the link that appears at the bottom of each communication you receive.
  9. Modification of the Privacy Policy: THE FIRM may modify its Privacy Policy in accordance with the applicable legislation at any given time and the processing carried out, of which you will be informed.
