In his extensive professional experience, he has worked at some of the most prestigious Tax Law firms in Spain and as a tax advisor for both companies and private clients, providing advice to businesses in the electric power, communications, real estate, banking and transportation industries.
The Spanish Association of Tax Advisors (AEDAF), of which he was the representative in Madrid and Castile-La Mancha in 2010 and 2011.
The Distinguished Professional Lawyers Association of Madrid (ICAM).
Abel has more than 20 years of successful experience in tax counselling for both companies and private clients, which has placed him at the head of the Tax Department of LIFE Abogados in Madrid.
In his professional practice he provides advice on different areas of Tax Law, and he is frequently involved in restructuring operations (M&A), estate planning, financing operations and international taxation.
He also participates in proceedings before the Spanish Tax Audit Office, as well as in filing tax-related claims and appeals before different administrations and courts.
He holds a Law degree from the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM) and a Master’s Degree in Tax Counselling from IE Business School.

He often participates in lectures and conferences on different taxation matters.
He is a regular contributor to Spanish newspapers such as Expansión, El Economista and ABC, for which he writes articles on taxation matters. He also participates in debates on the radio and television.
