Founding partner of the firm (2009).<\/p>

He has been a member of the Legal Department of Universidad de Valladolid (1991-1998), has worked as a lawyer in renowned national law firms (1999-2003), and his last stage at the Litigation Department of Clifford Chance in the Madrid office (2003-2009).<\/p>

As a litigation lawyer, he has been involved in the legal defence and management of important matters in a wide range of sectors (telecommunications, private equity, banking, insurance, M&A transactions, transport, distribution, automotive, construction, hospitality, etc.).<\/p>

He has extensive experience in all types of claims arising from breach of contract, termination and rescission of contracts, unfair competition, agency and distribution agreements, as well as in proceedings for the enforcement in Spain of foreign court and arbitration decisions.<\/p>

The Cidian blood that runs through his veins makes Roberto a thoroughbred litigator, who combines a high technical level, which is also the result of his teaching experience, with his passion for litigation. When he goes to court, he doesn’t just go through the motions, he puts on his war paint.<\/p>

His time at Clifford Chance and his liaison with international clients has enabled him to handle very different scenarios with ease, and to intervene before all types of courts and tribunals.<\/p>

He has been a collaborating lecturer at Universidad Pontificia de Comillas-ICADE, at the Aliter International Business School, at the Instituto de Estudios Superiores de la Fundaci\u00f3n Universitaria San Pablo-CEU, and at the Instituto Superior de Estudios de Seguridad de la Comunidad de Madrid.<\/p>

He has several publications including his collaboration in the following collective works: “Aspectos Jur\u00eddicos del Metaverso<\/em>“, Madrid, 2022; “An\u00e1lisis del R\u00e9gimen General de la Competencia Desleal y la Publicidad, llevada a cabo por la Ley 29\/2009, de 30 de diciembre<\/em>“, Madrid, 2011; “Introducci\u00f3n a la Nueva Ley de Enjuiciamiento Civil<\/em>” Barcelona, 2001. His doctoral thesis “Polic\u00eda Judicial y Constituci\u00f3n<\/em>“, was co-published by Aranzadi and the Ministry of the Interior, Madrid, 2001.<\/p>
